Braces

If Invisalign is not the right option for you, you may opt for conventional braces. Traditional braces tend to be a more cost-effective option than Invisalign but usually require more maintenance. There are several types of braces you can choose from.

  • Ceramic braces: They work similarly to metal braces; however, these are made of clear brackets or teeth-colored brackets that blend in. These are much less noticeable than conventional metal brackets and often tend to work faster than Invisalign aligners.

  • Palatal expanders: This is a device that is used to adjust the upper jaw so that it can fit with the lower one. This is often followed by the use of traditional metal braces in order to straighten the teeth.

  • Forsus appliances: These are used to correct the jawline of patients whose upper jaw protrudes over the lower one. This device is known to align the teeth and significantly reduce overbites, thereby promoting healthy jaw growth.
